The Premise: In Everything I Need To Know I Learned from a Little Golden Book, Diane Muldrow has combined some of the most beloved characters and illustrations from the iconic children’s series into this tidy little self-motivation book for grownups. With tips like “sweat pants are bad for morale” and “be a hugger”, this little book will be a stroll down memory lane injected with humour and good old fashioned advice. Covering the spectrum of financial planning, to health, to enjoying the small things in life, there are some good reminders for anyone to enjoy.

The Bottom-line: What can I say? December is a short (and frantic) month and I needed something quick to read. Plus, I have to admit I’m a bit of a sucker for pop psychology and motivational quotes. This book is a fun read but also a great little gift to give your team, your kid’s teacher or anyone else that might need a motivational boost.

To all our members and subscribers, thank you for reading and sharing our Recap. We wish you all the best for 2016 and remember… sweat pants at work really aren’t good for morale.

Roundtable Rating: Fun read and a shot of nostalgia.
